I'M BAD!
I spent all day yesterday trying to fix my Ebay listings. Ebay canceled all my listings because I had put a link to this blog on my listings and that I had in the details page that I would accept money orders and personal checks. Totally forgot that Ebay had a new rule that you could only use paypal or charge cards. Personally if I take the chance on taking personal checks why should it bother Ebay. There must be some reason that I don't know about. So my day was busy fixing my mistakes and not making any new pieces. I don't really think that Ebay gained anything by removing my listings without any notice. Really no notice! They were just gone! I will say that ArtFire is much more user friendly. They encourage you to put your other selling venues, websites or blogs on the listings or in your profile. Customer service is great at ArtFire, you can actually talk to them on the phone! Really!!! Well enough about that. I do have a few new pieces that I am excited about.
I did this one in black and white! Her name is Francesca, she is 7/8" x 1 3/4".
This one is Isabella she is 7/8" x 1 7/8". I love the colors on this one.
This is Mona, I love her! She is more or a character to me. She is tiny, measuring just 5/8" x 1 7/8".
One last thing, I love the beading that Barbara Ellis has been doing with these pendants. You can check them out at my Flickr page. Here is a link to one of her patterns.

GETTING OLD SUCKS!
This has been a very busy week, trying to keep up with my internet business and taking care of my sick elderly parents and everything in between. This week has made me think of what it is going to be like in just a few years from now for my husband and myself. This is the part that sucks, I'm not getting younger! I am going to fight getting old every step of the way.
Now on a lighter side! New pendants on Ebay, ArtFire and Etsy. Here is one that I haven't listed yet. Saving this one for my blog, let me know what you think. I love comments, so feel free to leave them.
I used green and blue dichroic glass as the base of this one, she has a very summery look to her. She measures 1 3/8" x 2 1/8".

More New Pendants!
FOUR NEW PENDANTS!
I just finished these lovely ladies, Fairy Tale, Goth Girl, Psychedelic Flower Child and Mesmerized Miranda The Fortune Teller.
This is one of my favorite beaded pendants. This beaded cuff was beaded by Barbara Ellis using one of my painted pendants. I love this one! She makes and sells the patterns and the finished products. You can contact Barbara at bje213@comcast.net. You can also see more of her work on my Flickr page, http://www.flickr.com/photos/atouchofglassjewelry/.

New Pendants!
New Pendants!
I love getting these darlings out of the kiln. It's like getting a surprise present.
I call this one "Good Luck Witch".
I call this one Survivor. A friend of mine is going through her 3rd round of Chemo. She hasn't had her hair for over a year and a half, but she looks great. It has always surprised me to see people going through this and how good they look without all the hair. Let's face it, especially for women, hair is important. Look at all the products that are out there for us to fluff and shine our hair, and then I look at these people with the big beautiful eyes and smiling, what do they know that we don't. It's alot of trouble keeping our hair in the right style and condition that we want. The time and money that this takes is unbelievable, and then we have these brave souls, going through a life saving journey, wearing these great hats and scarves or none. Here is wishing them well.
More pendants will be added later today! I will have my Saint Patrick's Day Witch, Fortune Teller and her Cystal Ball, Lady of the White Birch and The Vamp.
This is one of my pendants that was beaded by Barbara Ellis. I love her work. She sells the completed items and also sells the patterns to do your own beading. She is a very talented lady. If you would like to contact her here is her email address, bje213@comcast.net.
